About Me

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a doctorate in psychoanalysis. With over 30 years of experience, I specialize in treating adolescents, adults, and couples. My clinical focus includes anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I have extensive experience working with university students and young adults, helping them navigate academic, relational, and emotional challenges.

In addition to my clinical practice, I am a senior faculty member at the Psychoanalytic Center of California, where I teach candidates and psychoanalytic psychotherapy students who are interested in gaining more knowledge about Psychoanalytic psychotherapy.

My Approach

What isn’t conscious still shapes you.

My work focuses on bringing underlying, often unconscious dynamics into greater awareness, so you can gain greater insight into your behavior and emotional life, not just relief from its symptoms. This process transforms patterns that may once have felt destructive into opportunities for growth, understanding, and more fulfilling connections with others.

While my work centers on the unconscious, it is not detached from your daily life. I remain responsive and attuned to your specific needs, goals, and circumstances.
